This is a double feature event. From 6pm to 8pm get your art on with LEFT BEHIND The " Left Behind" exhibit is a study of human abandonment by Harold Copp. His choice of repetitive imagery , bold colors and factual stories and interviews will have your heart , mind and for some of you, your tears. His work depicts some of life’s historical tragedies and triumphs all done in an extremely creatively destructive manor in which to further emphasise the experience of the paintings themselves. This exhibit is the culmination of 10 years of Harold Copps life’s work. And in my personal opinion well done. You will leave the exhibit and enter the party feeling touched...and that is exactly the point. To be reminded of who we are and that though we may all have our differences we all.... need, feel, love, suffer and overcome and that we all do these things in our truest of forms...as human beings. When you are done you are invited to hang around and join in the Green-ween festivities at Green-ween Party. 8pm begins the Audio side of the night. Now that you’ve got your art on why not get your groove on... with Ed Downey americana/acoustic singer songwriter Hellcat Maggie Americana/Hawaiian influenced (ukulele fronted band) The Bad Kids Early punk/rock ( Velvet underground/iggy and the stooges influenced) Urknee and Bjurton spoken word with experimental jazz NPV experimental music/noise Veluxe Rochester’s premier Indy Rock band and of course....Silent Auction....Rochester’s Premier Synth-pop group ( minus a drummer) RECAP.... 6pm-8pm A closing view of LEFT BEHIND a study of human abandonment by Harold Copp that is certain to blow your minds. 8pm - on The Green ween party begins.
